Meet the Coach: Gene Scattini

Gene Scattini has taught and coached at Foothill College for the last 24 years. He was the Head Football Coach for 7 years and now the Men's Golf Coach for the last 13. He helped take a struggling football program and develop it into a contender and now he has done the same thing with the golf program.

The Foothill Golf Program is very competitive and has represented the Coast Conference in many state championships. The program has also developed some top rate golfers that have gone onto compete at Division I and II schools. Some of Coach Scattini's players have gone on to the professional ranks and are listed in the Athlete Section.
