About our Program -
Men's Golf has 13 tournaments during the season with the hopes of qualifying for the Northern California Championship and the State Championship. Foothill College plays some of the finest and most challenging country club courses in Northern California. The season starts with fall practice, with the team qualifying rounds in the month of January. Competition runs from February 1st through the second week of May.
During the last ten years, Foothill has represented the Coast Conference at the Northern California Community College Championship six times, coming in 5th in the state in 2004 and fourth in the state in 2006. Only eight teams are represented in Northern California with four going on to the state championship.
In the last ten years six players have gotten their PGA certification and many others have gone on to compete at the four year level.
