The Owls are coming off another outstanding season finishing 19-11, and a #12 final ranking in the State. The Owls made it to the second round of the State Tournament where the lost in overtime to host Cabrillo 65-63.

The Owls played in the Championship game of all four tournaments in which they participated this season - winning their own Quinn Henry Memorial Tournament in December.

This year's team also featured 9 players that held a 3.0 or better GPA - with 6 of 9 players carrying over a 3.5 GPA. Coach Rosenberg said, "I am extremely proud of what this team has accomplished this year, not only in terms of their court successes, but their dedication to their academics and personal growth as well. Valuing winning together, player/personal development and transfer rates are paramount in our Foothill philosophy".

Brett McConnell was selected to the All-State Team this year. Both David Fullenwiley and Brett McConnell were selected to the All-Conference Team.

The 2009-10 team finished a tremendous season at 23-8 (ranked #4 in Region, #8 in the State). The Owls were one of the Final 4 North Region qualifiers for the State's Final 8 Championship Event. After six straight years of participating in first , second and third rounds of the State Tournament, the Owls finally broke through to make the Elite 8 this season. Bobby Macias and Marseilles Stewart were both named to the All-State Team.
