Gerontology Classes at Foothill College
Gerontology is the study of aging. The courses introduce students to the
continuum of characteristics, abilities and needs of older adults, the
policies and services that are available, and the skills needed to be
effective in working in aging programs. The courses can be taken for
individual interest or professional development, and some are offered
for continuing education units.
